2027 Ram 1500 Buyers Guide

What changed, what did not, and whether to order a 2027 or buy a 2026 in Bowdle.

The 2027 Ram 1500 is an unusual model year to shop: almost everything that changed is enthusiast news, and almost nothing that changed affects a working truck. All 25 model codes carry over, and the engines, transfer cases, axles, tow groups, tanks, coil-spring rear and every cab and box combination are unchanged for 2027.

What is new: a Rumble Bee Quad Cab, a TRX SRT package for the RHO, a HEMI without the eTorque assist, and six added colors. This page covers all of it, plus the question most people here are really asking — order a 2027, or buy a 2026? Start at the Ram 1500 inventory page, or read the 2026 Ram 1500 guide.

Quick Answer

For 2027 the Ram 1500 adds a Rumble Bee Quad Cab, a TRX SRT package on the RHO, a 5.7L HEMI without eTorque and six paint colors. Every engine, transfer case, axle, tow group, tank and cab-and-box choice a work buyer relies on is unchanged, so a 2026 is the same truck.

Model Year Changes

What Changed on the 2027 Ram 1500, and What Did Not?

Four things changed for 2027: a Rumble Bee Quad Cab model, a TRX SRT package for the RHO, a 5.7L HEMI without the eTorque assist, and six added colors. Package content shuffled on a few trims. Everything else, including every engine a work buyer would choose, is unchanged for 2027.

Ram spent this model year on the enthusiast end of the lineup, so if you are buying a half-ton to pull a stock trailer to the sale barn in Mobridge, there is nothing on the 2027 order sheet you are missing today. On pricing we will only give direction: base prices moved up modestly, a little more on the RHO, and destination did not move.

New or Changed for 2027 Unchanged for 2027
Rumble Bee joins the lineup as its own model: a 4x4 Quad Cab on a short wheelbase with a 5'7" box, HEMI standard, lowered ride height 3.6L Pentastar V6 and both Hurricane twin-turbo inline-six power levels, Standard Output and High Output
RHO gains a TRX SRT package with a supercharged 6.2L HEMI, an 8-speed built for it, a full-time transfer case and red tow hooks Transfer cases by trim, front and rear axles, axle ratios and the locking differentials
5.7L HEMI V8 is offered without the eTorque assist; the engine code changed and eTorque left the name Trailer tow groups, the Class IV hitch and 7-pin harness standard on every truck
Six colors added: Flame Red, Hydro Blue, Goldilocks, Spitfire Orange, Ceramic Grey and Rumble Bee Yellow. Nothing was dropped 26-gallon and 33-gallon fuel tanks and the rules for which cab and box gets which
SiriusXM now standard on Tradesman and Big Horn / Lone Star instead of living in an equipment group Coil-spring rear suspension and the available four-corner air suspension
Surround-view camera and the 12-way trailer connector standard on Limited, Longhorn and RHO, and added to Laramie Level 1 Every cab and box combination, Quad Cab and Crew Cab, 5'7" and 6'4"
Laramie adds rain-sensing wipers and a luxury steering wheel as standard; RHO adds Launch Assist Every trim name: Tradesman, Big Horn / Lone Star, Laramie, Rebel, Limited, Longhorn, RHO, Tungsten

The Real Decision

Should You Buy a 2026 Ram 1500 Now or Order a 2027?

Buy the 2026 on the lot unless you specifically want a HEMI without eTorque, a Rumble Bee, the TRX SRT package, or one of the late-availability colors. Those four things are the only reasons to wait. Capability, cab and box choices, tow groups and 4x4 hardware are identical either way.

Ram 1500 on the lot at Beadle's Chrysler Center in Bowdle, South Dakota

A 2026 Big Horn Crew Cab 4x4 with the Hurricane Standard Output, the 3.92 axle and a tow group is mechanically the same truck as a 2027 built the same way: same transfer case, same rear axle, same hitch and 7-pin, same 33-gallon tank on the 6'4" box. You are not trading capability for a model year.

The opposite case is just as clear. If it has to be a V8 without the belt-starter assist, the 2027 HEMI is the one you want. A Rumble Bee or a TRX SRT does not exist as a 2026 at all, and Goldilocks and Hydro Blue are order-only for now.

Who should order, and who should not

Buyer Order a 2027? Why
Cow-calf operator, stock trailer No Engines, tow groups, axles and tank sizes are unchanged for 2027. Buy the truck you can use this fall.
Highway family, camper in summer No Laramie and Limited content is largely carryover, and some 2026 equipment groups list screen content the 2027 groups do not.
Contractor or trade, work package No Express and Warlock content got slightly richer for 2027, but not enough to wait a season for.
HEMI buyer who does not want eTorque Yes 2027 is the only way to get the 5.7L V8 without the belt-starter assist. Crew Cab only, both years.
Rumble Bee or TRX SRT buyer Yes Neither exists as a 2026. Ram lists both as projected availability starting late 2026 depending on model, with preproduction models shown.
Anyone set on a new color Yes Flame Red, Hydro Blue, Goldilocks, Spitfire Orange, Ceramic Grey and Rumble Bee Yellow are 2027 additions.

Lead time, allocation and timing

Ordering a Rumble Bee, or an RHO with the TRX SRT package, should be possible through Beadle's. Allocation and build timing move around through a model year, so the useful answer is always the current one. Call the sales desk at 605-460-6254 and we will tell you what we can get and roughly how long it looks like taking the week you ask.

On warranty: the 2026 trucks carry the 10-year/100,000-mile limited powertrain warranty Ram published for the 2026 model year. Ram has not published 2027 powertrain terms, so we will not state them; the 2026 Ram 1500 guide has the 2026 detail. If you are ordering, work backward from when you need the truck in the yard.

From Beadle's Chrysler Center

The question at the desk is almost never "what changed." It is "am I going to regret buying this one." In a model year like this one, for a work truck, the answer is no. And whatever goes wrong gets fixed 25 minutes from your yard instead of three hours away.

The full decision framework, including what you give up either way, is in 2026 or 2027 Ram 1500: Buy the Truck on the Lot or Order One?

Engines

Which Engines Does the 2027 Ram 1500 Offer?

The 3.6L V6 and both Hurricane twin-turbo inline-six power levels are unchanged for 2027. The 5.7L HEMI V8 continues in the same trims and cabs but without the eTorque assist. Two new V8s, a 6.4L and a supercharged 6.2L, exist only on the Rumble Bee and the TRX SRT package.

Unchanged for 2027

3.6L Pentastar V6

Standard on Tradesman and Big Horn / Lone Star in both cabs, 4x2 and 4x4, with the 8-speed automatic and the 48-volt belt-starter generator. It is also the engine behind the lineup's highest payload rating.

Right for you if: you want a straightforward truck without a trailer behind it.

Our Pick for Ranch Work

3.0L Hurricane Standard Output

Unchanged for 2027. Optional on Tradesman and Big Horn, standard on Laramie and Rebel. This is the engine behind the lineup's maximum tow rating and the one we put most trailer buyers in. The High Output makes more power, but it is not the towing upgrade people assume.

Right for you if: you pull a loaded bumper-pull and want the strongest tow rating.

Unchanged for 2027

3.0L Hurricane High Output

540 horsepower and 521 lb-ft, the same figures Ram published for 2026. Standard on Limited, Longhorn, RHO and Tungsten.

Right for you if: you are buying a Limited, Longhorn, RHO or Tungsten anyway.

The 5.7L HEMI V8: what actually changed

The 2027 HEMI is not an all-new engine. It is the same 5.7L V8 with the same cylinder deactivation, behind the same 8-speed automatic. What is gone is the eTorque assist: on the 2026 truck a 48-volt belt-starter generator handled stop-start and added a little low-speed assist, and for 2027 that hardware left the name and the engine code.

Availability did not move. It is a Crew Cab engine in both years, offered on Tradesman, Big Horn / Lone Star, Laramie 4x4 only, Rebel and Limited / Longhorn, and standard on the Rumble Bee — never on a Quad Cab, a Laramie 4x2, the RHO or the Tungsten. For 2027 it cannot be ordered in Flame Red or Hydro Blue. The two new V8s, a 6.4L and a supercharged 6.2L, exist only on the Rumble Bee and the TRX SRT package.

Full HEMI comparison in The 2027 HEMI Without eTorque. For the three-engine side-by-side that still applies to both years, read the Ram 1500 Engine Guide.

Trim Levels

How Does the 2027 Ram 1500 Trim Lineup Break Down as Hardware?

Every 2026 trim name returns for 2027, with the Rumble Bee added. The steps that matter are the transfer case at Big Horn, heated seats at Big Horn Level 1, the locking rear differential at Rebel, and air suspension at Limited. Badges change less than hardware does.

One thing to sort out first, because it trips up people who shop the manufacturer site. Ram markets Express, Warlock and, for 2027, TRX SRT as their own trims. That is what you saw, and it is not wrong. On the build sheet, Express and Warlock are quick-order packages on the Tradesman and TRX SRT is a package on the RHO, which is why a Warlock shows up as a Tradesman on the window sticker.

At the top end the Tungsten is still the fully loaded truck: the largest screen standard, a Klipsch 23-speaker system, massaging seats, 22-inch wheels and air suspension.

Work packages compared in Tradesman, Express, Warlock and Black Express. The full trim walk that applies to both years is the Ram 1500 Trims and Packages guide.

New for 2027

What Is the 2027 Ram 1500 Rumble Bee?

The Rumble Bee is its own 2027 model, not a package on another trim: a 4x4 Quad Cab on a 131.9-inch wheelbase with a 5'7" box, a lowered ride height and a HEMI standard. It is the only short-box Quad Cab in the lineup, and it is a muscle truck rather than a work truck.

Ram builds it in four steps: the base truck on the 5.7L HEMI, the 392 on the 6.4L HEMI, the 392 Track Pack with track hardware, and the SRT on the supercharged 6.2L HEMI. Ram publishes 777 horsepower and 680 lb-ft as the SRT maximum, with 0 to 60 in 3.4 seconds, a 170 mph top speed and the claim that it is the fastest production truck ever built.

The hardware follows the same ladder: 22-inch aluminum wheels, available four-corner air suspension that is standard on the SRT, Brembo brakes with six-piston fixed front calipers, Launch Control on the SRT and 392 Track Pack, 88 inches of stance and a 19-speaker Harman Kardon system.

What it is not is a stock-trailer truck. The short box, the lowered ride height and the tires all point the same way, and it offers neither the RamBox nor the multifunction tailgate. If you want something loud that also works, look at a Rebel or a Warlock.

Ram lists projected availability starting late 2026 depending on model, and notes that preproduction models are shown.

New for 2027

Is the TRX Back for 2027, and What Does the TRX SRT Package Change?

TRX SRT is a package on the 2027 RHO, not a separate model. It swaps the High Output Hurricane for the supercharged 6.2L HEMI, changes the transmission, transfer case and axle ratio, and adds red tow hooks, TRX badging and bead-lock capable wheels. The RHO underneath is otherwise the same truck.

Ram's own comparison page lists TRX SRT alongside the other trims, which is why people ask whether the TRX came back. On the order guide it is a package on the RHO model, and the 2027 guide is titled RHO / TRX SRT. Both are true; the second is what shows up on the build sheet.

Item RHO RHO with TRX SRT package
Engine 3.0L Hurricane High Output, 540 hp and 521 lb-ft Supercharged 6.2L HEMI V8
Transmission 8-speed automatic 8-speed automatic built for the supercharged V8
Transfer case Electronic full-time Full-time, 4WD-mode only
Axle ratio 3.92 3.55
Tires and wheels LT325/65R18 all-terrain, full-size matching spare; bead-lock capable wheels available Same size, with the TRX SRT bead-lock capable wheel
Appearance Two-tone standard with a Diamond Black lower body; monotone Diamond Black available TRX badging and cluster theme, red tow hooks, Spitfire Orange two-tone available
Suspension and protection Raised ride height, adaptive damping, active performance shocks, three skid plates plus a front fascia and belly pan Same chassis hardware

A third 2027 option: the Bloodshot Night Package, with bead-lock capable wheels, a gloss black upper cab, a red hood stripe, carbon trim with red tracers and body graphics.

Our recommendation, if you live where we do: the High Output Hurricane RHO is the one to own year-round. Same skid plates, adaptive damping, all-terrain tires and full-size matching spare, plus Launch Assist for 2027. The TRX SRT package is the right call if the supercharged truck is what you actually want.

Ram lists projected availability starting late 2026 depending on model, and notes that preproduction models are shown.

Cab and Box

Quad Cab or Crew Cab, 5'7" or 6'4" Box?

Unchanged for 2027. The Quad Cab is offered only on Tradesman and Big Horn / Lone Star and only with the 6'4" box, with the new Rumble Bee as the single short-box exception. The 33-gallon tank is standard on every 6'4"-box Crew Cab and optional on most 5'7" builds.

The Quad Cab stops at Big Horn for a simple reason: above that trim, Ram builds Crew Cabs. It is still the cheaper way into a 6'4" box with the big tank, but the back seat is a real step down for car seats, a dog crate and the sick calf that rides to the house in March.

Box length is the other half. The 6'4" box swallows fence posts, mineral tubs and a full pallet with the tailgate up, and brings the 33-gallon tank as standard on a Crew Cab. The 5'7" box parks in a shop without a fight, which is why most family Laramies leave here with it.

Ram 1500 Crew Cab in a South Dakota farmyard at Beadle's Chrysler Center

The RamBox is standard on Tungsten and available on Big Horn Crew Cab, Laramie and Rebel; the multifunction tailgate runs from Big Horn through Tungsten. Neither is offered on Tradesman, RHO or Rumble Bee. And if the trailer keeps getting heavier, look at a Ram 2500 before you spend the money on a loaded 1500 — we sell both, and we would rather put you in the right one.

The full decision guide is Quad Cab vs Crew Cab and 5'7" vs 6'4" Box. Dimensions and figures by configuration are in the Ram 1500 specs breakdown.

4x4 and Winter

Which 2027 Ram 1500 4x4 System Do You Actually Need?

Unchanged for 2027. The Tradesman 4x4 uses a part-time transfer case you shift in and out yourself. Big Horn and every trim above it use an on-demand case with a 4WD Auto setting you can leave engaged on mixed pavement and ice. That single difference is the most useful thing on this page in January.

Ram 1500 with all-terrain tires on a gravel road near Bowdle, South Dakota

A part-time case is fine in a farmyard, where you can stop, shift in and go. It is the wrong tool for US-12 in freezing drizzle, where the road goes from dry to glare ice and back three times between Bowdle and Ipswich. That is what 4WD Auto is for, and it is the strongest single argument for stepping from a Tradesman to a Big Horn.

Lockers follow the same logic. Rebel and RHO get an electronic locking rear differential standard; Limited and Tungsten get an anti-spin rear. On a Tradesman or Big Horn you can add the locker through the Warlock package, the Off Road Group or the Black Express edition.

Two new transfer cases arrived for 2027 and neither is aimed at a work buyer: the TRX SRT package runs a full-time case with no two-wheel-drive mode, and the Rumble Bee uses a single-speed case with no low range.

Cold-weather content is unchanged for 2027. Remote start is standard on every trim, down to a base Tradesman, and heated front seats and a heated wheel start at Big Horn Level 1. The Off Road Group brings a raised ride height, heavy-duty shocks, three skid plates, a full-size spare and all-terrain tires.

From Beadle's Chrysler Center

Every January the service drive tells the same story. The trucks that get stuck are not the ones with the wrong badge on the tailgate, they are the ones on worn highway tires. If the choice is a trim step or a good set of all-terrains before winter, buy the tires first.

Towing and Trailer Tech

What Can the 2027 Ram 1500 Tow, and Which Tow Group Do You Need?

Ram publishes a maximum tow rating of 11,530 lbs and a maximum payload of 2,340 lbs for the 2027 Ram 1500, both on very specific builds. Every truck ships with a Class IV receiver hitch and a 7-pin harness, and the trailer tow groups are unchanged for 2027.

Class IV hitch on a 2027 Ram 1500 coupled to a bumper-pull stock trailer with the 7-pin connector plugged in
11,530 lbs
2027 Max Towing
Properly equipped, Hurricane inline-six
2,340 lbs
2027 Max Payload
Properly equipped, 3.6L Pentastar V6
Standard
Class IV Hitch and 7-Pin
On every 2027 Ram 1500

Both maximums belong to one specific build, and neither is the truck most people here buy. The tow figure comes from a Hurricane inline-six truck configured for it; the payload figure from a V6 truck. Add four-wheel drive, a Crew Cab, a tow group and a full tank and both come down, so get the gross combined weight rating for your exact build before you buy a trailer. The 2026 ratings sit slightly higher at 11,610 and 2,360 lbs, and Ram has not said why the 2027 figures are a touch lower.

The tow groups are where the useful equipment lives. On Tradesman, Big Horn, Laramie and Rebel, Trailer Tow Group II adds an integrated brake controller, Trailer Reverse Steering Control, trailer tire-pressure monitoring and a trailer light check; on Limited, RHO and Tungsten the Trailer Tow Group covers the last three. A factory brake controller is standard on the RHO only, and it is the one option we tell trailer buyers not to skip.

One 2027 change is genuinely useful: the 12-way trailer connector and surround-view camera are now standard on Limited, Longhorn and RHO, and the connector was added to Laramie Level 1.

Axle ratios, group contents and what "properly equipped" means are covered in the Ram 1500 Towing Guide, which applies to both model years.

Paint

Which Colors Are New on the 2027 Ram 1500, and Which Are Restricted?

Six colors were added for 2027 and none were dropped: Flame Red, Hydro Blue, Goldilocks, Spitfire Orange, Ceramic Grey and Rumble Bee Yellow. All six are listed as late availability, and several are tied to specific trims or packages. The HEMI cannot be ordered in Flame Red or Hydro Blue.

Color New for 2027 Availability
Bright White, Diamond Black, Forged Blue, Molten Red, Serrano Green, Silver Zynith No All trims, unchanged for 2027
Granite Crystal No All trims except the RHO
Ivory White Tri-Coat No Laramie, Limited, Longhorn and Tungsten; extra cost
Tank No Tied to packages: Back Country, Warlock, Black Express, Rebel and the Night Editions
Flame Red Yes Tradesman, Big Horn, Laramie and Rebel; late availability; not available with the 5.7L HEMI
Hydro Blue Yes Tradesman, Big Horn, Laramie and Rebel; late availability; not available with the 5.7L HEMI
Goldilocks Yes Late availability; requires a Night Edition on Big Horn or Laramie, Black Express or Warlock on Tradesman, the Rebel, or the RHO two-tone
Spitfire Orange Yes RHO with the TRX SRT package only, as a two-tone
Ceramic Grey and Rumble Bee Yellow Yes Rumble Bee only; late availability

"Late availability" is worth translating, because it costs people time every fall. It does not mean the color reaches the lot later. It means the color opens for ordering later in the model year, so a truck in that paint is one you order and wait for.

From a place with gravel roads and road salt: Silver Zynith, Granite Crystal and the greys hide dust and winter film better than anything else on the list, while Diamond Black and Bright White look best for about four hours after a wash. The premium paint upcharge also went up for 2027, so ask what a specific color costs on your build.

Two-tone is a separate line item. The RHO comes two-tone with a Diamond Black lower body as standard; it is extra cost on the Rebel and comes with the Back Country package on a Big Horn Crew Cab 4x4.

Every color, every restriction and what holds up on gravel is in 2027 Ram 1500 Colors.

Technology and Comfort

What Tech and Comfort Content Moved for 2027?

Four things moved: SiriusXM became standard on Tradesman and Big Horn, the surround-view camera and 12-way trailer connector became standard on Limited, Longhorn and RHO, Laramie gained rain-sensing wipers and a luxury steering wheel, and the RHO gained Launch Assist. Everything else is unchanged for 2027.

The infotainment story is unchanged for 2027. Uconnect 5 runs on an 8.4-inch screen on Tradesman and Big Horn, a 12-inch screen with navigation from Laramie up, and the 14.4-inch portrait screen standard on Tungsten, with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto across the lineup. The one thing to check on a 2027 build is the top equipment group on Laramie, Rebel and RHO: those were restructured, and the screen and passenger-display content is not the same list as 2026.

Safety content did not move. The full standard suite — forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise with stop-and-go, Active Lane Management, blind-spot monitoring, park assist and trailer sway damping — is on every trim including a base Tradesman, with the Advanced Safety Groups above it.

One new option matters if you run tools off the truck: a 1.7 kW on-board power system joins the sheet from Big Horn through Tungsten, listed as late availability.

Screen, driver-assist and interior content by trim is in the Ram 1500 Technology Guide, and the 2027 movement is summarized in What Changed on the 2027 Ram 1500.

Cross-Shopping

Ram 1500 or F-150, From the Lot That Sells Both?

Most people shopping a Ram 1500 in Bowdle have already priced an F-150, often on this same lot, because Beadle Ford is right here, under the same ownership. The Ram's case is the coil-spring rear suspension, the only one in the half-ton segment and the reason these trucks ride the way they do on washboard gravel; a plain V8 for 2027 with no hybrid hardware attached; the 33-gallon tank on a 6'4"-box Crew Cab; and the RamBox for lockable outside storage.

The honest concession is that headline tow and payload numbers are not where the Ram wins, so if a maximum rating decides it, look hard at both. Come drive them back to back on the same stretch of road.

  • Nothing a work buyer depends on changed for 2027 — engines, transfer cases, axles, tow groups, tank sizes, cab and box choices and the coil-spring rear all carry over.
  • The 5.7L HEMI lost the eTorque assist, not its availability: it is still a Crew Cab engine on Tradesman, Big Horn, Laramie 4x4, Rebel and Limited / Longhorn, and it is standard on the Rumble Bee.
  • The Rumble Bee and the RHO's TRX SRT package are order-driven, late-availability trucks, and both are muscle trucks rather than trailer trucks.
  • A 2026 Ram 1500 is the same truck mechanically, and it carries the 10-year/100,000-mile powertrain warranty Ram published for 2026.

Common Questions

2027 Ram 1500 — Common Questions

What is new on the 2027 Ram 1500? +

Four real changes: a Rumble Bee Quad Cab as its own model, a TRX SRT package on the RHO, the 5.7L HEMI offered without the eTorque assist, and six added colors. SiriusXM also became standard on Tradesman and Big Horn, and surround view and the 12-way trailer connector became standard on Limited, Longhorn and RHO. Every model code, engine, transfer case, axle, tow group and tank size carries over unchanged for 2027.

Should I buy a 2026 Ram 1500 now or order a 2027? +

Buy the 2026 unless you want one of four things: a HEMI without eTorque, a Rumble Bee, the TRX SRT package, or a late-availability color. For work use the two model years are the same truck. Browse what is on the ground on the Ram 1500 inventory page, or call 605-460-6254.

Is the 2027 Ram 1500 HEMI different from the 2026 HEMI? +

It is the same 5.7L V8 with the same cylinder deactivation and 8-speed automatic, offered without the eTorque assist. On the 2026 truck a 48-volt belt-starter generator handled stop-start and added light low-speed assist; for 2027 that hardware left the engine's name and code. Availability is unchanged: Crew Cab only, on Tradesman, Big Horn / Lone Star, Laramie 4x4, Rebel and Limited / Longhorn, and standard on the Rumble Bee. It cannot be ordered in Flame Red or Hydro Blue.

What is the 2027 Ram 1500 Rumble Bee? +

It is a new 2027 model, not a package: a 4x4 Quad Cab on a 131.9-inch wheelbase with a 5'7" box, a lowered ride height and a 5.7L HEMI standard, and the only short-box Quad Cab in the lineup. Above it sit the 392, the 392 Track Pack and the SRT, which Ram rates at 777 horsepower and 680 lb-ft. Ram lists projected availability starting late 2026 depending on model, and notes that preproduction models are shown.

Is the TRX back on the 2027 Ram 1500? +

TRX SRT returns as a package on the 2027 RHO, not as its own model. It swaps the High Output Hurricane for the supercharged 6.2L HEMI, changes the transmission, transfer case and axle ratio, and adds red tow hooks, TRX badging and cluster theme, with Spitfire Orange two-tone available. Ram lists projected availability starting late 2026 depending on model, and notes that preproduction models are shown.

Which colors are new on the 2027 Ram 1500? +

Six: Flame Red, Hydro Blue, Goldilocks, Spitfire Orange, Ceramic Grey and Rumble Bee Yellow, with nothing dropped. All six are late availability, meaning they open for ordering later in the year rather than showing up on lots. Spitfire Orange is TRX SRT only, Ceramic Grey and Rumble Bee Yellow are Rumble Bee only, Goldilocks requires a Night Edition, Warlock, Black Express, Rebel or RHO two-tone, and Flame Red and Hydro Blue cannot take the HEMI.

Does the 6'4" box still get the 33-gallon fuel tank on a 2027 Ram 1500? +

Yes, and it is unchanged for 2027. The 33-gallon tank is standard on 6'4"-box Crew Cabs across Tradesman, Big Horn / Lone Star and Laramie, and on Limited, Longhorn, RHO and Tungsten. Quad Cabs, lower-trim 5'7" Crew Cabs and the Rumble Bee carry 26 gallons, with 33 optional on most 5'7" builds.

What warranty comes on a 2027 Ram 1500, and where do I get warranty work done? +

Ram has not published powertrain warranty terms for the 2027 Ram 1500, so we will not state them. The 2026 trucks carry the 10-year/100,000-mile limited powertrain warranty Ram published for the 2026 model year, and the 2026 Ram 1500 guide covers what that includes. Either way the warranty work happens here in Bowdle — call 605-460-6254.
