I would rather lose an order than watch somebody wait out a season for a truck that was already sitting out front. That is a strange thing for a dealership to put in writing, but it is how this model year works out. When the engines, the 4x4 hardware, the tow groups and the tanks all carry over, waiting does not buy capability. It buys a later delivery date.

Where ordering makes real sense is easier to spot than people expect. If it has to be a V8 without the belt-starter assist, order the 2027. If you want a Rumble Bee or the RHO with the TRX SRT package, order it, knowing Ram itself calls both projected availability starting late 2026 depending on model.
